Confessions of a Police Captain (1971)

A paranoid cop goes outside the law to put a hit on a dangerous Mafioso in the seedy Italian crime thriller Confessions of a Police Captain (1971). Martin Balsam stars as the titular police captain who grows certain that a meddling D.A. (Franco Nero) is obstructing his pursuit of a psychopathic mobster. The copper grows increasingly consumed by his search, in part because he’s boffing the thug’s hot sister (Marilù Tolo). She’s a dangerous dame to be sure, but Tolo shows why she’s worth every last bit of mortal danger with a couple of stunning reveals.
