Fine French pastry Colette Emmanuelle has enjoyed a pretty lengthy movie career, even though she doesn’t exactly work all that often. She made a lovably lingerie-laden debut in 1971’s La plus longue nuit du diable (known in these parts as The Devil’s Nightmare) and followed that up with a TV flick in ’73 before taking a looooong holiday. Nine years later the hot-buttered croissant popped up in two other films, but then the amazing vanishing Colette hit the road once more, only to show up sixteen years later in 2000’s The King is Dancing. Several gigs would follow, thereby proving that it is possible to maintain a thirty-three-year, eleven-movie career. But only if you’re French, female, and freakishly fine.
