Cold & Dark (2005)

Innumerable barriers stand between a dedicated policeman and his raining of justice upon evil perpetrators. The general public’s mistrust, institutionalized apathy, an arcane and coddling court system, defense lawyers slick and conscienceless as water rats all conspire to frustrate the good cop and bad cop buddy team. The policing pair feel they have been left out in the Cold and Dark (2005). While tracking a ring of human smugglers, the intrepid and incorruptible duo encounter a toilet-stall massacre and a sickening sense that even if the culprits responsible are apprehended, no human power will suffice to contain them. Then one lawman’s body and personality are mysteriously taken over as if by a being of an advanced species, and the iniquitous are left no safe haven.
