Review

Clash of the Titans (1981) is the last film to feature special effects by the legendary stop-motion animator Ray Harryhausen, protégé of pioneer Willis O’Brien, the man who made King Kong (1933). The film follows the exploits of Greek mythological hero Perseus (Harry Hamlin) as he rescues maidens, fights monsters, and deals with the gods on Olympus. Though rated PG, the film features T&A from Vida Taylor and Judi Bowker. They should have called this Clash of the Tit-ans! You can see Judi's jugs at the one-hour 42-minute mark when she gets out of a bath and we see that toga tushy and right boob in all their beauty. It's never in conjunction with her face, which makes you wonder whether this could be a body double. Whatever...it's hot either way! Vida's vivacious and skin-ful scene takes place a mere 11 minutes into the flick. You can see her right ta-ta when she breastfeeds, then some bare butt walking down the beach with her kid. There are some alternate versions of this movie that had to be altered to secure a more family-friendly rating in the UK. One of the scenes showed a trident piercing a man's back, and a shortening of the prolonged shots of Calibos on his knees writhing in agony after a sword found its way into his stomach. If you watch the DVD version of the flick, you'll see these scenes in their entirety. Unfortunately, there's no nudity to be reinstated. This flick may be prime for a rated-R remake!
