Charlie's Angels

Charlie's Angels (2000)

Brief Nudity

A software mogul has hired the kung fu jiggle patrol, Charlie's Angels (2000), to hack into a rival company's computers, and Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu, and Cameron Diaz are ready to execute their orders with T&Amazing pizzazz. This big-screen update of the ’70s TV show is campy, cornball, and full of bouncy butterballs, plus a curveball or two: it turns out that their client isn't who they think he is. With ridiculously lucky goofball Bosley (Bill Murray) by their sides, the trio, backed by anonymous billionaire Charlie (voiced by the original TV Charlie, John Forsythe), tumbles jumblers-first into danger, kicking ass, flinging sass, and flipping their fabulous manes. These dames never use guns—instead, Charlie's Angels embraces Hong Kong-style action, featuring fight scenes choreographed by Cheung-Yan Yeu, whose brother crafted all the kicks in The Matrix (1999). Catch the ravishing Kelly Lynch as the broad who gets them the job, plus performances from Sam Rockwell, Tim Curry, Crispin Glover, Matt LeBlanc, Luke Wilson, and Tom Green.
