Cellofan - med døden til følge (1998)

A cosmopolitan reporter arrives in a provincial Norwegian town in a bid to clear her dying father’s name in the icy crime thriller Cellofan - med døden til følge (1998). Andrine Sæther stars as Marianne, a journalist whose designer wardrobe clashes noticeably with the drab and unmistakably creepy confines of the rural town where she’s been dispatched. Bent on getting to the bottom of a murder mystery, Marianne must stick her neck out in order to make sense of the odd community where she’s very much on the outs. Fortunately Sæther’s got moves capable of winning the respect of the local men; after all, it’s hard to say no to a blonde Swede’s full-frontal flashes.
