A cautionary tale about the imminent threat of AIDS, Casos de alarma (1986) is unflaggingly erotic throughout, but the specter of death hangs over most of the sex scenes. Luis Aguilar and Carmen Salinas head the cast of a socially conscious film that attempts to educate even as it strives to entertain. And entertain it does--if you can ignore the Grim Reaper’s presence, there are some sinsational sex scenes, including an Edenic waterfall frolic with ravishing Alma Delfina.
