With piercing green eyes, blonde hair, and a wide mouth that inspires the imagination, Carin Moffat gives girls next door a run for their money. A native of Toronto, Canada, she studied English and Drama at the University of Western Ontario. She’s explored her acting career in New York, Los Angeles, London, Vancouver, and Toronto, working both in front of the camera, and on stage. The Swedish-Scottish seductress made her debut as a hot date in the US TV movie Labor of Love (1998) with Marcia Gay Harden, then appeared as Danish in the movie Boy Meets Girls with Sean Astin and Emily Hampshire (1998). From there, she was all about the TV shows, making her way through both sci-fi and drama on Relic Hunter, Foreign Objects, Night Visions, Jeremiah, Stargate SG-1, Dead Like Me, Starhunter, 1-800-Missing, The Border, Saving Hope, and Private Eyes, never popping up in more than one episode at a time, but earning a steady stream of paychecks. Carin also kept up with the TV movies, playing Alexandra in Sex, Lies & Obsession (2001) with Harry Hamlin and Lisa Rinna; Terry Soshack in The Winning Season (2004) with Matthew Modine and Kristin Davis; Lt. Robin Ballantine in Mayday (2005) with Aidan Quinn and Dean Cain; and Jean Smith in When Love Is Not Enough: The Lois Wilson Story with Winona Ryder. Carin only did one other big-screen movie, acting as the character Ashely in Avenging Angelo (2002), which is where Mr. Skin would like to draw your attention. The blonde and her lover are splish-splashing in a pool when the man’s wife, aka Madeleine Stowe, catches them in the act. What you’ll catch is a glimpse of Carin’s three B’s—which are much more pleasant to look at than Sylvester Stallone and Anthony Quinn, who are also in the flick. Girl next door who?
