There are so many epic things that CGI and computer technology can do. Unfortunately, that includes nudity. Indeed, nude scenes are no longer only relegated to the possibility of a body double. Now nude scenes can be "enhanced" through CGI and even AI technology. As these technologies grow, we have to wonder: which scenes are real, and which ones use CGI? Here are a few scenes you may not realize have used CGI:
Lena Headey in Game of Thrones
This is a very famous CGI scene because it was so well-known. The pros behind Game of Thrones put Lena's head on the body of a beautiful body double and they did so seamlessly. Rebecca Van Cleave was the body double we have to thank for giving us this scene which had some people thinking that sophisticated sexpot Lena Headey went full-frontal on our favorite HBO show. This was some seamless CGI!
Léa Seydoux in Crimes of the Future
Léa Seydoux is no stranger to nudity. The French actress proudly goes nude and engages in super sexual activities. Due to the nature of this scene in which a robot's sharp needles are poking at Léa's breasts, it was safest to CGI this scene as much as possible. We know that Léa's nips don't look exactly like this because we are well-acquainted with them by now. CGI is the only crime here, but I'll forgive her since she has given us so much already
Dakota Johnson in Fifty Shades of Grey
Before you get it twisted, Dakota Johnson does go nude in the movie - but not all the time. Dakota did wear something to cover up her downstairs part. The cinematographer had to put CGI pubes. According to the podcast What Went Wrong, the cinematographer thought it was one of the most unique things that he ever had to do in his career. I'd say so! I bet he also got some unique pleasure from looking at Dakota's body with so much detail so as to place the computer pubes in the right place.
Leslie Mann in The Change-Up
Comedic actress Leslie Mann seems like she would do anything to make her fans laugh, but in The Change-Up she had to have a post-partum pair. The beautiful blond used CGI to give her jugs a milky appearance with perky pokies primed for feeding. Hey, I'd like to take a suck on those nips so the CGI must be working.
Marion Cotillard in Ismael's Ghost
Marion Cotillard is a very petite French woman. Her character in Ismael's Ghost had a slightly fuller frame, including in the breast region. As a result, CGI was used to make her boobs look a little larger and her nipples a little smaller. Granted, Marion is gorgeous at all times. It was surprising to see CGI used on our favorite French woman, but I'll take any excuse for Marion's nudity.
