Review

Breaking Up (1997) is hard to do, especially when you’re breaking up with Salma Hayek. But that’s just what Russell Crowe does at the beginning of this movie. It makes no sense. The two still have a great sex life, which is illustrated in a nude shower scene that’s steamy in all the right places. Salma tortures Crowe by calling him up and expressing her pleasure with a gym hunk. The scene plays out like a nightmare, as Hayek gets bench pressed by the Fabio look-alike, with ample close-ups on his spandex-clad package. He isn’t hard, but you will be!
