Directed by the legendary Blake Edwards, based on the novel by the legendary Truman Capote, and starring the legendary Audrey Hepburn, the madcap comedy Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961) is a true classic of the American screen. Hepburn is Holly Golightly, a seemingly sophisticated New York socialite who reveals her vulnerable side to Fred Varjak (George Peppard), a young writer who’s just moved into her building. The lovely Audrey keeps her clothes on, but at one point she and Peppard go to a nightclub where they watch a striptease act performed by Beverly Powers in her first ever film role. Tease is the operative word in this 1961 flick, but 12 years later Beverly’s hills would finally come out in the legendary exploitation flick Graveyard Tramps.
