Boynton Beach Club (2005)

Director Susan Seidelman chronicles the trials and tribulations of a group of aging survivors in the mordantly funny rom-com Boynton Beach Club (2005). Ruefully funny and candid about life’s unavoidable expiration date, Seidelman’s film stars Dyan Cannon, Sally Kellerman, Brenda Vaccaro, Joseph Bologna, and Len Cariou as widows and widowers who gather to discuss their romantic foibles in a South Florida adult community. Perhaps most surprising is how fantastic some of these geriatric babes still look after all these years. Kellerman, for instance, first flashed flesh in M*A*S*H (1970) but is still worthy of worship more than thirty years later.
