Back when people thought Quibi was going to be the next big thing, Netflix started messing around with short form content by creating TV shows that were about fifteen minutes long. 2019's Bonding was one of the more beloved of those mini shows, with an impressive two-season run that fans and critics appreciated, even if the BDSM crow didn't. On the show, Zoe Levin is Tiff, a grad student who makes a little bit of cash on the side by doing dominatrix stuff under the name "Mistress May." While living in New York City, Tiff runs back into Peter (Brendan Scannell), her old high school boyfriend, who used her to keep everyone from learning that he was actually gay way back in the day. Tiff recruits Peter for some help in her bondage work, eventually turning him into her assistant. For the two seasons it ran, pretty much every episode centered around Peter, who is extremely uncomfortable with both his sexuality and sex in general, learning the ropes of the bondage world under his secret sex work name, Carter. While you'd think real bondage fans would be too tied up with all that kinky sex to leave negative TV shows reviews on the internet, apparently not. The BDSMers attacked this show a ton online, for not accurately portraying their kink and taking way too many liberties with their hobby in order to create humorous situations. We can't attest to its accuracy, but Mr. Skin can assure you the ass in this show is Bond girl quality! In one scene, Gabrielle Ryan lies in a pink bra with some lucky fella using her mocha bombs as pillows. Those are gonna be some sweet dreams! But the hottest scenes in the show are the ones where Zoe Levin puts on the leather miniskirt and bra to make her money. Unfortunately, there are no nips, just chains and whips, in BONDiNG.
