Biography

German babe Birgit Tetzlaff got her start in the rather salaciously titled production Love Under 17 (1971), a film with eight episodes serving as a cautionary tale about the sexual shenanigans minors can get into. “No longer a child, not yet a woman!” the poster screams. “A time when a young girl surrenders to the moment!” it warns. Birgit continued her quest to guide young souls in the Schoolgirl Report films, a series of flicks that got away with nudity and foreplay by pretending to be instructional movies for avoiding the pleasures of premarital sexual relations—by showing exactly what those pleasures were. The brunette starlet played Micki Henkelt in Schoolgirl Report 3: What Parents Find Unthinkable (1972), and Sieglinde in Schoolgirl Report 4: What Drives Parents to Despair. She also appeared in several other reports, including as Bettina in the Schüler Report (1971), aka Student Report; Christine in Jungfrauen Report, aka Virgin Report (1972); Karin in Lehrmädchen Report, aka Apprentice Report; and Marianne in Nurses Report (1972). Birgit had one more warning for young girls via the silver screen, as Bambi in The Innocent Abroad (1972), a dramatic look (wink-wink) at young girls who are hustled into being bad with visions of glamour; tagline: “They knew the pleasures, but not the dangers.” Birgit’s only role in just a regular old, funny comedy romp came when she played a girl at a party in The Swinging Co-Eds (1972), about a group of women who hang out at Munich’s ’72 Olympics and wind up having all kinds of naked fun. Gold medal for Birgit!
