Beyond the Hills (2012)

Immigration and religion threaten to break up a lesbian love affair in the Romanian/French drama Beyond the Hills (2012). Alina (Cristina Flutur) and Volchita (Cosmina Stratan) are best friends who grew up together in the same orphanage. As soon as they reach adolescence, their relationship turns oh-so-Sapphaliciously sexual. But after Alina emigrates to Germany, her gal pal turns to Catholicism to cure her of her "affliction." And when Alina returns after several years abroad to reclaim her lady love, she finds that her les-be-friend has dumped her for her new lover...Jesus Christ. Yup, Volchita's become a nun. You won't have to look very far beyond co-star Cristina Flutur's hills, because 14 minutes in she loses her shirt to expose her pretty peaks. Holy hootage!
