Beautiful Kate (2009)

Beautiful Kate (2009) is written and directed by beautiful Rachel Ward. Anyone who watched Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid (1982), The Thorn Birds (1983) and Against All Odds (1984) will remember the statuesque stunner as one of the most gorgeous faces (and bodies) of the 1980s. Yet ever since the new millennium, Ms. Ward has been lending her talents behind the scenes. No doubt, she’s a gifted filmmaker but we miss seeing her alluring assets on camera! Nevertheless, Rachel adapted Newton Thornburg’s 1982 novel into this R rated flick. The drama kicks into action when a writer named Ned Kendall (Ben Mendelsohn) takes his fiancée Toni (Maeve Dermody) to his isolated family home in Australia. Ned’s sister Sally (Rachel Griffiths) has asked him to visit so he can say goodbye to their dying father Bruce (who is played by the director’s real-life hubby Bryan Brown). But soon after Ned’s arrival, he begins to be haunted by memories of his deceased twin sister Kate (Sophie Lowe) who was killed in a car accident. Before this mystery reveals itself, the comely cast does too. That is, sexy brunette Briony Kent exposes her bouncy chest while having sex. Better yet, Ms. Dermody bares her perky pair while getting spanked on her naked derrière! If that’s not erotic enough, Ms. Lowe will make audience members high when she repeatedly unleashes her breasts through flashbacks. The skintastic actress also lets us glance at her ass while washing her crotch in a pond. Look out for the splash!
