Review

Barefoot in the Park (1967) is a beloved comedy from the late sixties starring Robert Redford and Jane Fonda as the adorable couple at the core of this movie. Gene Saks is the director of this story from Neil Simon based on his very popular play. Paul, played by Robert Redford, is a young conservative lawyer who marries Corie, played by the ever-wonderful free spirit, Jane Fonda. Their passionate relationship gets tested when they marry on a whim and move all the way up a five-flight walkup in New York City. They actually move to Greenwich Village in the height of the 1960s where beatniks abound in a changing, bohemian neighborhood. Jane Fonda is the blonde babe who gives major Barbarella vibes when she hops out of her bedroom to say goodbye to her husband as he goes out to work. She only wears a pajama top which shows off her sexy thighs and glorious legs. She looks like such a sex kitten. She also sports cleavage in her bra top when she does a hot dance for her hubby. He asks what she's doing and she answers "getting him all hot and bothered". Well, we can see that! We see a lot more than that when she has her neighbor help her turn her radiator off. She needs his hand to lift her up, so he does that which causes her skirt to ride up. He has the best view, but we can also see a snippet of her undies. Forget going barefoot. Go bare!
