If you grew up in the days when PBS was one of the only ways for you to see nudity, you're likely a fan of Armistead Maupin's Tales of the City. Theseries was also an introduction for many of us to Laura Linney, and shewent nude in the Showtimes incarnation of the series Further Tales of the City.

The show now returns following a nearly twenty year hiatus, this time on the nudity friendly Netflix. Here's the show's logline for those of you that don't feel like watching the trailer...

Inspired by the books of Armistead Maupin, the new Netflix Limited Series Tales of the City begins a new chapter in the beloved story. Mary Ann (Laura Linney) returns to present-day San Francisco and is reunited with her daughter Shawna (Ellen Page) and ex-husband Brian (Paul Gross), twenty years after leaving them behind to pursue her career. Fleeing the midlife crisis that her picture-perfect Connecticut life created, Mary Ann is quickly drawn back into the orbit of Anna Madrigal (Olympia Dukakis), her chosen family and a new generation of queer young residents living at 28 Barbary Lane.

Sure, all of that is great and I hope we get more nudity from the show, but all I can think of right now is that classic Seinfeld episode where Kramer recommends this show to the high talker...

Tales of the City premieres on Netflix June 7.
