Ante geia (1990)

An enterprising young man lets his ambitions get the best of him in the hardscrabble Greek drama Ante geia (1990). Alkis Kourkoulos stars as Christos, an army conscript who’s released from duty to make his way in the dog-eat-dog world of business. The handsome youngster immediately hooks up with a local butcher who promises to make him rich, treating him like the hard-working son he never had. At the same time, the butcher’s wife and daughter both start making eyes at the young upstart, causing tension in a family well stocked with sharp knives. Mom can try all she likes, but she’s not going to be able to beat daughter Fanny (Vanna Barba) to the prize--by smothering the butcher boy with her bountiful breasts, Barba achieves her objective with skin to spare.
