Review

It’s not easy being psychic. In the German thriller Annas Fluch - Tödliche Gedanken (1998), a prescient artist experiences visions of a sadistic slaughterhouse murder, but when he tries to alert authorities they shrug him off. Later, when a prominent society figure (Katja Flint) is found slain, the authorities come right after the poor schlub (Steffen Wink) who warned them in the first place. Fortunately the psychic doesn’t have it all bad--his comely girlfriend (Franziska Petri) appreciates his special powers when she frolics with him in the sack.
