Andaman Girl (2005)

A disgraced director discovers that every cloud has a silver lining in Andaman Girl (2005), an irreverent gangster comedy from Thailand. After resting on his laurels for too long, award-winning filmmaker Pe (Amarin Nitipon) discovers that the only work he can find is making skin flicks. Depressed at first, his mood lightens considerably when sexy actress Jee (Supakson Chaimongkol) winds up on his casting couch. Pe believes that he’s found his starlet and a girlfriend to boot, but Jee’s shady mob connections threaten to put the kibosh on the auteur’s return to glory. Although the plot centers on a porn shoot, the beautiful Chaimongkol plays it modest throughout. But even clothed, she’s a welcome addition to any cast.
