In Anatomie der Dämmerung (2007), writer Sebastian Blue (Andreas Hoppe) meets Isabell (Hoku Ho), the female protagonist of his new novel. Obviously stunned by seeing a fictional character, Sebastian immediately heads to the therapist’s office. Diagnosed as being overly worked and tired, the writer’s Shrink asks him to read his manuscript to try to discover the deeper source of Sebastian’s literary hallucinations. As Sebastian reads from his novel, his characters come to life, further blurring reality with fiction.
