Review

Amazons and Gladiators (2001) is a low-budget, high-energy, sex-change rip-off of Russell Crowe's colossal Oscar winner Gladiator (2000). Female warrior Jennifer Rubin, in full Xena garb (and, unfortunately, not out of it), battles her way to an arena-set fight to the finish with the General Crassius (Patrick Bergin), one of Caesar's least-loved enforcers, who, long ago, slaughtered her entire village. So it's kind of Conan the Boobarian and Bravetart too.
