Drama-queen lawyers, a ticking biological clock, and a dancing baby that went viral before going viral was even a thing: Fox’s multi-award-winning Ally McBeal introduced audiences to pleasingly petite and pouty Calista Flockhart as the titular heroine, a lawyer looking for love in Beantown. Created by TV legend David E. Kelley, the 1999 Emmy Award winner for Best Comedy concerned Calista's Ally, a lawyer who joins a new firm only to find out that her ex-boyfriend (Gil Bellows) and his new wife (Courtney Thorne-Smith) work there as well. Awkward! For whatever reason, everyone at this firm has a firm policy of having sex with each other, with every minor character seemingly slutting it up with a fellow legal eagle. But what made the show so wild were the wicked weird fantasy sequences, a full four years before Scrubs would start doing a similar thing. Although the waif we wanna get wet, Calista’s beans were firmly encased in her power suits, said suits’ infamously scanty skirts made for some leg shows worthy of banging your gavel to. Besides that, just one look at her thin body in a bra is enough to have you dying to feel Miss McBeal! Add to that Alexandra Holden in a bikini, a rather young Lucy Liu playing a stern attorney we'd love to take a turn with, and Courtney Thorne-Smith flashing ass at one point while distracting a dude in the office, and these lovely litigators were creating some lust-see TV! Rumors are that a reboot's coming, and while the Metoo era might put a damper on all that inter-office action especially among people who know how to sue, we know what would make it even better than the original: show some skin, for real, on Ally McBeal!
