Alle meine Töchter (1995-1998)

Alle meine Tochter is a romantic drama that ran on German TV for a number of years. Those numbers are 1995 to 2001. Good numbers. Not good ratings, maybe, but there’s more than popularity to gauge the success of a series. This one, translated to All My Daughters, has already won us over with it’s distinctively female title. The plot is familiar to any lover of soap operas, a wealthy family, medical professionals, beautiful babes, but unlike the fare we expect stateside there is a crucial difference. That can be seen with Julia Dahmen, on of the title’s daughters, who shows off her bush. Fur. Vagina. On TV. Jutta Speidel, Elisabeth Lanz and Monika Lundi add more skin, mostly boobs, but we’re mostly impressed.
