Adam at Six A.M. (1970)

Set your clocks for skin in the moody drama Adam at 6 A.M. (1970). Michael Douglas stars as Adam Gaines, a spoiled, smug, idealistic linguistics professor at a California college who has grown weary of intellectual life and going to bed with the newest coed. When the disenchanted professor hears word of his aunt’s death in rural western Missouri, Adam jumps in his Porsche 911T heads out on a cross-country journey to the Midwest to pay his respects and learn a bit more about the small town his family is from. While in the small, rural town, Adam crosses paths and falls in love with pageant queen turned hayseed hottie Jerri Jo (Lee Purcell in her film debut) and decides to spend the summer working as a laborer. He clears fields in the day and plows Jerri Jo all night, trying to find the authenticity that life in the Midwest provides. But as an academic from California, it's not long before Adam clashes with the locals and rubs a few country folks the wrong way. With the fall semester creeping up, Adam, torn between two opposing worlds, must choose between the campus or the farm. What kind of country bumpkin is worth leaving a cushy job in Cali to bump uglies with? In this flick, it's Lee Purcell, who was actually hand chosen by producer Steve McQueen for the gig. Unfortunately, Lee leaves her clothes on the whole time. To see what Adam was waking up next to back home, check out the mega hot Meg Foster. Immediately following a bedroom romp with Michael Douglas, Meg Foster flashes her beautiful blue eyes and her ample apples while getting out of bed and having a smoke.
