3 zéros (2002)

3 zéros (2002) is a football comedy in the European tradition--meaning that it’s really about soccer. Also, there are plenty of luscious femmes peeling out of their uniforms in this episodic affair. Lorant Deutsch starts the plot as a potential star whose career is hampered by a long jail term. While his old cellmate tries to represent him on the outside, the meandering plot showcases both the good and the bad of Lorant’s preferred profession. There’s not much of the ugly, though. Mareva Galanter shows some fine acting talent, along with a sexy bod worthy of a former Miss France. It’s left to Souad Amidou and Emeline Bayart to be team players, though, as they stand out amongst a locker room full of naked frolicking filles.
