1919, cronica del alba (1983) is a coming-of-age story that will have you coming for ages. Despite the title, the story begins in 1939, in a French POW camp, which means prisoner of war, not one of those starbursts from the Batman TV show when they’re in a fight. But the movie then goes back to tell of this man’s youth, and his whoopee with a local girl, played by Christina Marsillach. Christina is from a Spanish acting dynasty, her father being the late Adolfo Marsillach, and it’s a good thing he’s dead. If he wasn’t, he would be after seeing his lovely daughter bare her boobs in three nude scenes, and her bush clearly visible though a sheer white slip.
