Actor Tommy Lee Jones starred in, directed, and wrote The Three Burials of Melquaides Estrada (2005), a story of racism, border controversy, and immigration that feels right on for the current state of political affairs. But this is no dry polemic; rather it’s a stirring portrait of righteousness and facing up to bigotry. That it also features nudity from January Jones and Melissa Leo only adds a bit of sugar to make the tragic tale go down a bit easier. Not to be missed, for the message or the mammaries.
