The ambitious ingenue proceeded to land roles in a variety of genres. She made the chiller diller The Incredible Truth (2012); the fantasy Mural (2011); the rom-coms Marry a Perfect Man (2012), Ex-Files (2014) and See You Tomorrow (2016); the black comedy An Inspector Calls (2015); the marital arts movie Master Z: The Ip Man Legacy (2018); and the romantic drama My Dear Liar (2019) for which she was named Best Actress at the Macau International Movie Festival.
