Witchblade

Based on the comic book of the same title, Witchblade follows the adventures of NYPD detective Sara Pezini (Yancy Butler), who bears the Witchblade, a powerful gauntlet-like weapon that morphs into a magical sword and carries a will of its own. Existing since days of yore, it chooses the time and person that it wants to be merged with and Sara is the chosen one of her generation. And when Sara’s not kicking ass with the Witchblade, she’s sitting in the corner stroking it and muttering “My Precious . . .” Depending on your IQ, the show was either sheer genius or utter crap, but one thing that can’t be disputed is that Yancy Butler, with her dark hair and piercing eyes, is a stone hottie. While she’s only teased us so far with brief nudity in The Ex and The Hit List, her co-star Laila Robins gave us a lingering view of her milk melons in The Blood Oranges.
