Wiseguy

Though this 1987 series only ran for three years, it was popular enough to come back as a TV movie six years later. The series followed the exploits of Vinnie Terranova (Ken Wahl), who does time in a New Jersey penitentiary to establish his undercover role as an agent for the OCB (Organized Crime Bureau). His roots in a traditional Italian neighborhood bring him into conflict with his conservative family members while acting undercover as syndicate enforcer. But most viewers may not have been wise to the fact that four of Wiseguy’s cast members have gone under the covers in some of their other projects. Patricia Charbonneau, a perky brunette with firm bon bons, indulged in some Sapphic sex in Desert Hearts, while athletic blonde Darlanne Fluegel played the slutty (and briefly naked) informant in 80’s guilty pleasure To Live and Die in L.A.. Patti D'arbanville is looking a bit long in the tooth these days, but she looked mighty perky back in the day when she doffed all for Bilitis and Rancho Deluxe. Best of all, Joan Severance has been in a boatload of skin flicks, though her most prolific work can be found in Lake Consequence. Consequences don’t come any firmer or more serious than Joan’s.
