Wind on Water

Most definitely not a show about eating baked beans while boating, this show had two things going for it: extreme sports and Bo Derek. That combination still wasn’t enough to keep it on the air for more than a few episodes--possibly because Bo, in a distinct change of pace, was keeping her clothes on. Although Wind on Water was a prime-time soap opera, it apparently had plenty of snowboarding, surfing, and motocross action. If they would have put Bo naked on a motorcycle they might have had something. Some of the other projects Bo has been in have fared slightly better--probably because she showed her well-paid cooch in them. She of course first turned a nation’s head as she trotted down a beach in dreadlocks--while sucking her stomach in through her neck--in 10. She’s been no skin slouch since then, getting all kinds of naked in movies like Tarzan, the Ape Man and Bolero. However, in Woman of Desire, she really outdid herself. We don’t think she wore a stitch of clothing in the whole damn movie! Even now, when she’s pushing fifty, Bo Derek still has one of the firmest racks in Tinsel Town, even if it does has more artificial ‘sweeteners’ inside it than a vat of Nutrasweet.
