West Virginia mountain mama Kate Bosworth has a bod worth a lot more than her small town can afford, and she's got a big heart and lofty dreams to match her perky beans. More than anything in the world, this gorgeous girl wants to win a date with Tad Hamilton, and in Win a Date with Tad Hamilton! (2004), that's exactly what she does. What a coincidence! Tad is Josh Duhamel, and he's a movie star with a bit of an image problem. His handlers, Sean Hayes and Nathan Lane, cook up the dating contest in order to put the kibosh on the "bad boy" talk. When wiggly Piggly Wiggly clerk Kate wins big, she's as happy as a pig in slop. Not so happy is her best bud and co-Wiggly worker Topher Grace, who's whole-hog in love with her. Things get even lower for Topher when it turns out that Josh isn't just joshing; he falls for Kate for real.
