Wildside

This non-event of a show centered around a secret law enforcement group in Wildside County, California in the Old West. The five crime fighting cowboys go by the names of Brodie and Sutton Hollister, Bannister Sparks, Varges De La Cosa, and Prometheus Jones. Wildside lasted exactly one episode per each of the main characters (that’s five weeks to those lacking basic math skills), and the Faux Force Five were unceremoniously dumped into a mass grave on boot hill. The only noteworthy thing about this show was that it starred a younger and less uppity Meg Ryan as Cally Oaks. Although she later went on to make men suffer with films like I.Q. and You’ve Got Mail, the home wrecking gladiator-humper has done her share of skin duty in such films as The Presidio, The Doors, and Flesh and Bone. Never mind You’ve Got Mail--Meg got Mams!
