Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute… Emmy Rossum isn’t the highest paid person on Shameless?! Have you seen the show? You know she’s kind of the star of it, and is also super sexy and takes her top off a lot. Not only should she be paid the most, she should also be paid however much she wants in whatever form she wants.
Yes it would seem that Emmy Rossum, who already had to make a fuss to be paid the same as William H. Macy, is now asking to be paid more than anyone else on the show as the show gets ready for an 8th season. Pay her. Boom. Done. There really isn’t any need for a debate. Emmy Rossum wants to be highest paid person on the show, do it, it’s her show. Pay. Her. Now. Showtime. I honestly don’t even understand how this an issue, from season one Emmy Rossum has been the star of Shameless. Nothing against William H. Macy, but I think it’s safe to say we’ve all cared way more about Fiona Gallagher and her adventures than those of Frank Gallagher.
So, come on Showtime big-wigs, give Emmy Rossum whatever she wants. She wants a raise and to be paid all in nickels—go get some buckets and strong people to carry her buckets of nickels. No Emmy Rossum, no Emmy Rossum nudity, no Shameless.
