Like the bastard child of Dan Akroyd’s PSI Factor and a Barbara Walters special, this celebrity interview program had an interesting twist. Rather than plug their latest project, guests were asked to relate their brushes with the paranormal or their near death experiences. Hosted by Jim Brynes, guests included Lou Gossett Jr. who claims to have had five near-death experiences (he’s not lying, have you seen those awful Iron Eagle flicks?), Gary Busey (had a close encounter of the pavement kind on his motorcycle) , Linda Blair (demonic possession), James Cromwell (saw talking animals), and supermodel Carol Alt (haunted by the smell of fatty foods). The show only aired fourteen episodes in 1999 before giving up the ghost, however five of the show’s guests have given up the goods. Cuban-born beauty Maria Conchita Alonso has showed off her spicy jalapenos in a variety of flicks from Extreme Prejudice to The House of Spirits. Swimsuit supermodel Carol Alt teased in a variety of productions, including a nip-slip in Bye Bye Baby. Former Exorcist party-girl Linda Blair also showed off her possession-worthy pom pom’s in Red Heat and Chained Heat. Super-sexy sistah Vivica A. Fox gave us a taste of her chocolate pudding-pops in Booty Call. And last but not least, cute 80’s geek-girl Ally Sheedy has trotted out the girls in One Night Stand and exposed them to the Sapphic pleasures of Radha Mitchell in High Art.
