See them gliding through the air with the greatest of ease, the blood-sucking freaks on the flying trapeze! Vampire Circus (1972) is all about Count Mitterhaus (Robert Teyman), a vampire who slaughters children in the Serbian village of Stetl, until the townsfolk decide they've had enough and put a stake in his heart. He curse the town and vows he'll be back as he dies. Over a decade later and Stetl is under government enforced quarantine since it's home to a plague that people think the Count's curse brought about. Weirdly, an entire circus somehow slips by the quarantine and shows up looking to entertain the villagers. They're bored and lonely enough to go along with it, and soon enough are enjoying all sorts of wild performers, including Darth Vader himself, David Prowse, who plays the circus' strongman. Of course, the circus is just a front for the Count's cousin Emil (Anthony Higgins) to enact his revenge on the trapped town, and soon enough the circus folk are slurping the blood of the plague riddled Serbians. And of course, you know the Count's gonna come back at some point, right? But if you know anything about horror flicks in the early seventies, you should know you can always count on gorgeous women taking their clothes off! The five ring circus that will have you doing the five knuckle shuffle starts with Serena Weber, who flashes boob and butt doing her bald headed, cat inspired dance routine. Topless under the big top, Christina Paul's cans come out to play getting felt up by Emil, before he makes a meal out of her. But this ones best known for being the skin and film debut of British small screen star Domini Blythe, who dominates the screen by showing all three B's as she proves unable to resist the vampire's seductions. That sex is in-tents! Sorry to the bros Ringling, but we prefer playing with our dingaling watching Vampire Circus!
