Valparaiso, Valparaiso

Valparaiso, Valparaiso (1971)

Great Nudity!

Review

An armchair anarchist gets recruited into a revolutionary group in the outrageous French farce Valparaiso, Valparaiso (1971). Balthazar (Alain Cuny) is a pretentious middle-aged writer and author of the political treatise “L’Art, L’Amour et La Revolution." When Lazlo (László Szabó) appears and tells him that he is to be the center of a worldwide political uprising, egotistical Balthazar is more than happy to go along with the young Marxist. But when Balthazar meets Lazlo's girlfriend Edwarda (Bernadette Lafont), he becomes interested in having something besides his ego stroked. Speaking of stroking, you'll be doing some of your own when you see sexy revolutionary Alexandra Stewart whip off her top during an exercise in the woods. Power to the peepers!
