Vagabond (1985)

Famed French feminist film director Angès Varda's most successful film, Vagabond (1985) begins with a stiff cadaver frozen in a ditch. She's Mona (Sandrine Bonnaire), and she's the titular drifter in this bleak but beautiful flick. Through flashbacks and pseudo-documentary interviews, Agnès tells the story of the stony, mysterious Sandrine through the eyes of those who encountered her in the last weeks of her life. Camping and wandering, Sandrine is shown as a puzzle, someone others project their needs onto without ever trying to know her. A former Parisian secretary, it ends up Sandrine chose the vagabond life when nine to fiving it proved boring and dreary. From squatting to shepherding, smoking hash to fielding porn offers, she acts but is not understood. Things obviously don't end well for our girl, but the journey from wanderer to nameless dead body is a fascinating one. While the flick's a definite sadfest, we do get some nudity to turn our frowns upside down. You'll get a raging Bonnaire when Sandrine goes full frontal while walking on the beach. The problem is, the shot is from super far away so you might have to grab a telescope before you grab your fiddlestick watching the French flick. If you prefer your women to be a bit more mature, the MILFY Macha Meril flashes her funbags while lying in a bathtub. Splish splash we'd love to play with that gash! Rub a dub, we've already rubbed to those dubs! Laurence Cortadellas shows her boobs also, but the long haired brunette prefers taking a shower to taking a tub. Don't freeze to death, but you might need to stand out in the cold to get your dong back down. Vagabond features so much vag we want to bond with!
