Une aventure (2005)

The French drama Une aventure (2005) stars Ludivine Sagnier as Gabrielle, a woman who sleepwalks through the city at night and catches the eye of video librarian Julien (Nicolas Duvauchelle), who follows her home to learn more about her. After talking his way into her apartment and stealing a videotape he finds there, Julien discovers that she has a gangster boyfriend who keeps her as his mistress, may be having a lesbian affair with her Algerian maid Djemila (Estelle Vincent), and is possibly mixed up in a murder. Despite having just moved in with his girlfriend, Cécile (Florence Loiret), Julien cannot resist the attraction to Gabrielle and her dangerous life.
