Tranvía a la Malvarrosa (1997)

A chance encounter on a train leads to a lifelong obsession in Tranvía a la Malvarrosa (1997). Based on the autobiography of writer Manuel Vincent, Tranvía a la Malvarrosa stars Liberto Rabal as Manuel, a student who spots his dream girl on a tram car one morning. He follows her all the way to Malvarosa beach, and although he later learns about sex from prostitute La China (Adriana Gil), the girl on the tram is never far from his mind. Adriana shows off her apples as La China, and her happy hooker hootage is equally unforgettable. I'd put my smokestack in her caboose!
