Blonde bombshell Vanessa Hessler was born in Rome, Italy, but moved to Washington D.C. in childhood—her father an American. Growing up gorgeous, she became a model at age 15, and has a long career modeling for GUESS, Calvin Klein, Giorgio Armani, and L’Oréal, and was at one time the face of the DSL brand Alice in both Germany in France. Moving back to Italy, her Italian film debut was spectacular, the 18-year-old filling the screen with lusciousness as Stella in Natale a Miami (2005). The hottie honey also graced television screens in the mini-series Cenerentola (2011) as Aurora De Luca, and as Sharazad in One Thousand and One Nights (2012); and in TV movies La figlia del capitano (2012) as Masa, and Barbara in Santa Barbara (2012). In case her name or face looks familiar outside the realm of entertainment, you might remember her for her four-year affair with Mutassim Gaddafi, one of the sons of Muammar Gaddafi, who was killed along with his father. But no need to weep for Vanessa’s love life—she moved on to marry Gianna Nunnari, the successful producer of Se7en (1995), 300 (2006), The Departed(2006), Shutter Island (2010), The Domestics (2018), and The Thicket (2022).
