If at first you succeed, and on second try you succeed again, then what the hell? Why not completely change the formula, abandon the star of your franchise, and go ahead and make a movie like Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982)? Truly one of the worst ideas in the history of horror, Michael Myers was killed off at the end of Halloween II (1981). But instead of just bringing him back like every horror movie does after they kill off their iconic killer, the guys behind the Halloween franchise figured they'd turn the franchise into an anthology, and completely abandoned Michael Myers and Laurie Strode in favor of a story about evil masks. Seriously. Conal Cochran (Dan O'Herlihy) is a wealthy Mick who runs a toy company making the hot new masks of the holiday season. But these masks have little microchips on the back of them that contain bits of Stonehenge inside. These microchips are going to activate when all the kids watch the big TV program his company is hyping up, all at the same time. That's going to kill the kids and release some kind of Celtic plague, unless Dr. Daniel Challis (Tom Atkins) and Ellie (Stacey Nelkin) can get past the toy store's evil androids and put a stop to it. It has its fans so we can't say the third's a turd, but if the Box Office was any indication this was a terrible idea for a Halloween movie, that was also a movie, featuring a terrible idea. It never should've gotten past the season of the pitch. It might not be the best Halloween movie, but it does feature Stacey Nelkin sort of nekkid! At one point she's getting out of the shower, and her towel is so short you can see a bit of bush as she pulls it up to cover her cans. That'll get your Halloweenie hard! We'll also get to see her do some black bra seducing, when a lucky man tickles her fancy. Michael Myers would be back soon enough, and none of this would be spoken of again. But even if it's not talked about all that much, Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982) will always be the Halloween which features Stacey Nelkin's nether regions!
