Tough Guys Don’t Dance (1987) is a great novel by Norman Mailer who adapted and directed it into a great movie starring Ryan O’Neal and Isabella Rossellini. It’s a mind-fuck of a neo-noir, filled with freaky characters, mystery and, well, great nudity. These are the components of entertainment. Just add lube. The movie isn’t rife with skin, that would have made it a masturbation piece, by there’s no complaints about the tits of Debra Sandlund, while Frances Fisher is the girl voted most likely to give O’Neal o’ral. But unknown Katrina Marshall, billed as Topless Girl, answers the door to a party in character. Now that’s how to get things started.
