The Toronto International Film Festival continues, and the frozen North is getting hot, hot hot with a deluge of nudity from old favorites and up-and-coming nude stars alike. Our Skin Skouts saw movies starring Gina Gershon, Juno Temple, Asia Argento, Carice van Houten, and Emily Browning, and we're slappy to say the nudity reports are all positive. Add a lesbian liplock from Olivia Wilde into the mix, and it looks like we're headed for an awesome nude autumn:
Mr. Skin's favorite Sapphic snaggletooth, Gina Gershon, is back in rack-tion with the new noir comedy Killer Joe. Gina hasn't been nude on screen since 1998's Black & White, but she hasn't lost her touch- just check out the scene where she gets all Short Cuts on us in a shirt that doesn't quite cover her clover field. Kaboom! (2010) star Juno Temple co-stars as Gina's stepdaughter, baring both boobs and bush.
We've been reporting on Emily Browning's highly anticipated nude debut in Sleeping Beauty for months now. Our Skin Skouts finally got to see the pic in Toronto, and they say it's headed straight for the Nudity Hall of Fame. Here's the gory details: Emily bares sleeping boobies nine times, and strips completely nude for three scenes of breasts, bush and butt. Add unknown actresses Bridgette Barrett, Hannah Bella Bowden, Sarah Kinsella,Stephanie Menere, Lauren Orrell, Natalia Siwek and Mirrah Foulkes as waitresses who serve up both snookers and snatch, and that's a recipe for sweet, sweet wet dreams.
Dutch dish Carice van Houten is most famous for baring it all as an undercover spy in Paul Verhoeven's nude WWII thriller Black Book (2006). Being European, she's famously indifferent towards nudity, saying "In Holland it's weird not to be naked on a set, so we're all used to it." So when Carice bares boobs in bed with Clive Owen in the upcoming supernatural thriller Intruders, you know there's more to come...and skindeed, she stands up to reveal full frontal nudity.
Italian star Asia Argento made a splash at Toronto playing a seductive mute in Islands. Asia's been nuder, but fans who have been waiting since 2007's Go Go Tales will be slappy to hear Asia reveals her rib cushions for a brief moment as she changes her nightgown.
Not nude, but sexy, Olivia Wilde will turn your red state to a blue state when she makes out with Ashley Greene in the satirical comedy Butter, which premiered in Toronto.
