A TV crew sniffing out the truths behind ancient mysteries heads to a spooky old mansion and ends up food for the furry in Tomb of the Werewolf (2004), another fine flick from Fred Olen Ray. The TV types are after the story of the Daninsky family; rumor has it that there's a bunch of treasure buried in their awe-inspiring abode. The current Daninsky in residence is Jay Richardson, who doesn't know the half of what horrors lay in store. It turns out that the lady of the house, Michelle Bauer, is actually the "blood countess" Elizabeth Bathory—and when Michelle tricks Jay into pulling a silver dagger from the body of a dead old Daninsky played by Paul Naschy, Paul comes back to life as a tooth-gnashing werewolf! Now it's blood, gore, and jumblies galore as those of the human sort try to stay alive.
