The Cannes Film Festival is the biggest event of the year for movie producers, distributors and critics, with high-profile titles premiering at the Festival and thousands of movies screened and sold at the Cannes Marketplace. Much of what lights up movie screens around the world is influenced by what happens at Cannes, and the Palm d'Or is the biggest prize of the festival. And maybe it's the European influence, or maybe it's just the nude beaches, but the prestigious Cannes Palm d'Or and scorching-hot scenes of nudity are by no means mutually exclusive.

La Dolce Vita? More like La Dolce Teat-a.

At Mr. Skin, we love stars posing a la classic silver screen sirens (case in point: Lindsay Lohan's amazing Marilyn Monroe-inspired shoot for New York magazine). We also love Playboy, huge boobs, and Skinternational cinema.

So we're more than pumped to hear that flashtastic flesh legend Pamela Anderson is set to grace her eleventh Playboy cover (it hits stands in January), and Hugh Hefner himself confirmed via Twitter that her latest shoot will be a tribute to Anita Ekberg in La Dolce Vita.

It's hard to skinprove on a true original, but in this case, Pam is going to one-up the mouthwatering Ms. Ekberg, aping her dripping wet Trevi fountain dive, but this time, doing it naked.

True, the busty blond Ekberg eventually did show skin in 1978 in Killer Nun, but it was only a half boob and a touch of crackage. When it comes to nudity, Pam's the clear victor here, although they're both big, big stars. Where it counts.
