We're taking bets this week on DVD and Blu-ray: First, odds are you'll get to see Madonna's crown jewels as Madonna: Truth or Dare (1991) gets the HD treatment. Also nude on Blu-ray, Faye Dunaway opens the floodgates to nudity in the neo-noir Chinatown (1974), and Lynn Collins shows off her heavenly peaks in the drama Angels Crest (2011), nude on DVD and Blu-ray.

And on the SKINternational front, Russian stunner Kseniya Rappoport goes for broke with a rare bush-only nude scene in the Italian drama The Double Hour (2009).

Fathers and daughters. It’s (excuse the expression) the mother of all incest taboos- while twincest (especially among Swedish bikini models) is considered harmless cheeky fun, and the enduring popularity of Kay Parker proves the power of the hot mom fantasy, the idea of a father and daughter getting it on still gives many people the creeps. When it happens in movies, Daddy’s usually the bad guy and his little girl’s messed up for life. Think of Chinatown: She’s my sister…she’s my daughter…she’s my sister AND my daughter!

But there are a few odd sexceptions…

Assassination of a High School President (2008)

The dark comedy Assassination of a High School President (2008) stars Reece Thompson as a reporter on the school newspaper who uncovers a vast and evil conspiracy after he mistakenly accuses student-body president and popular jock Patrick James Taylor of stealing a stack of SAT tests. Mischa Barton appears as the disgraced jock’s girlfriend who mysteriously starts making moves on Reece after her boyfriend’s fall from grace. Mischa gets a B average in Toplessness 101 when she bares both boobs in the tub three separate times. If she stood up, she could raise her grade (among other things).

The mesmerizing Faye Dunaway had already earned two Oscar nods by 1977 (for Bonnie and Clyde and Chinatown, both nude performances) but had yet to take home the statuette. So Faye said, "I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!" and turned in the best performance of her career in Network and finally nabbed the little gold man. It probably helped that Network also provided one of the best nude scenes of Faye's career. It may have been brief, but seeing Faye's funbags flop away as she undressed for William Holden probably swayed the minds (and manhoods) of more than a few Academy voters.

Roman Polanski's life has, appropriately, been like something out of a movie. When he was a child, Roman's parents were sent to Nazi concentration camps and he was forced into the Krakow Ghetto. But Roman escaped and was hidden from the Nazis by a Catholic farmer who let him sleep in his barn. After the war, Roman went to film school and quickly made a name for himself as an arthouse director in Poland. In the 1960's, he went to England and made three of his most famous films, Repulsion (1965), Cul-de-Sac (1966), and The Fearless Vampire Killers (1967), where he met his future wife Sharon Tate. Then Roman moved to America and made the critically acclaimed horror movie Rosemary's Baby (1968). One year later, tragedy struck in the midst of success when Sharon Tate was murdered by the Manson family while eight months pregnant with his child. Roman continued making movies and directed his masterpiece, Chinatown, in 1976. But in 1979, Roman ran into scandal in the US when he pled guilty to unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor following an alleged champagne-and-quaalude-fueled sodomy session with 13-year old Samantha Gailey. To escape prison, the director returned to Paris, the city of his birth, and has never set foot on US soil again, not even when we won an Oscar for The Pianist (2002). But now, Samantha Gailey, his statutory rape victim, wants the whole thing over, saying of Polanski's flight from the States, "He did the right thing under the circumstances. He wasn't getting a fair shake." Roman's life has been ups and downs, but he's consistently provided us with incredible nudity in movies like Bitter Moon (1994), which features a fully nude Emmanuelle Seigner in bed with her les-be-friend Kristin Scott Thomas! When it comes to nudity, you can't keep a good Pole down!
