Guys, we've got good news and we've got bad news about Amanda Seyfried.

Good news first: Amanda's been doing some pretty skintense research for her part as Linda Lovelace, which as you might expect has meant familiarizing herself with Linda's, shall we say, oevure. No word on whether she watched the infamous 8mm reel starring Linda and a dog, but she tells Glamour magazine she did screen Deep Throat (1972). Amanda's reaction?

"What surprised me was the amount of pubic hair!" You poor, sweet, innocent girl.

The bad news? In the same interview, Amanda lays this bomb on us:

"I'm pretty sure I would never do full frontal for a movie," Seyfried said. "For personal reasons, I wouldn't really want to show that."

Ouch. Look on the bright side- at least she said "pretty sure" and not "definitely would not". That's something, right?

Tinseltown becomes Tonsiltown this week as Lovelace, the first in a duo of biopics of Deep Throat star Linda Lovelace, begins production in Hollywood.

There's been a lot of talk about who will attempt to Deep Throat the role of Linda Lovelace in Lovelace, and now that Amanda Seyfried appears to be a lock on the part, we're slappy to report another key piece of the film has fallen into place.

Sharon Stone has officially signed on to play Lovelace's mother, who according to Linda's autobiography put
Linda's illegitimate child up for adoption without her consent when Linda was 20 years old.

Production is set to begin in January, and with such high-caliber nude talent on board, we can't wait to see how Lovelace turns out. Would a bit of Taboo-style cougar/kitten action be too much to ask? Probably...but we can dream, cant we?

We can't imagine why so many actresses have been attached to the role of Linda Lovelace in the upcoming biopic Lovelace- after all, it's not every day you get offered the role of (literally) the biggest cocksucker in history.

Nevertheless, it's been a regular revolving door over at the offices of Lovelace, LLC. First Kate Hudson dropped out to have a baby, and then Olivia Wilde dropped out, apparently for no particular reason, after it was widely reported she would be playing the role. (Meanwhile, Swedish star Malin Akerman remains attached to a rival project, Inferno: The Linda Lovelace Story).

Now Olivia's nude Alpha Dog (2006) co-star Amanda Seyfried has begun negotiations to play the skinfamous porn star, which is slappy news for skin fans. Amanda may be young, but she's already proven herself more than willing to strip down on screen, even winning an Anatomy Award for Best Lesbian Scene for her cougar/kitten encounter with Julianne Moore in Chloe (2009). Let's just hope that, like the floors of a porno theater, this one sticks.

If you've been looking forward to seeing Olivia Wilde perm her hair and chomp down on a stunt dong, we've got some sad news. The sexy star of Cowboys & Aliens and Butter is now saying that she has passed on the role of Linda Lovelace in the upcoming biopic Lovelace.

The news comes after Olivia said this summer that she was "seriously considering" the role, telling E! News that playing the XXX star "would be a tremendous honor. It's such a cool role. She was a fascinating woman."

But while Olivia won't be Deep Throat-ing any time soon, Linda's fans still have some slappy news to hold their hammers to- nude Swedish star Malin Akerman is still on board for the competing biopic Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story, which is currently in pre-production. Maybe now that Lindsay Lohan (who was also up for the role) is a bona fide Playboy bunny, producers will finally return her calls.
